Permissions follow the person
tting doesn't connect a service on behalf of the whole company. Each member authorizes a connector with their own account, and an agent reading through it sees what that member can see and nothing more.
- Not signed in? Not visible. A member who has not authorized Notion gets no Notion results, even from a shared agent.
- Memory respects the source. Facts an agent learned from a connected document are only shown to people who can open that document.
- Writing follows the agent's approval setting. When you ask, connectors can create or edit Notion pages, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and calendar events. By default, these run without asking.
Scope it per agent
A connector being available in the workspace does not mean every agent uses it. Each agent lists the connectors it may use, and the tools within them it may call.
- Choose the tools. Pick which capabilities of a connector an agent gets.
- You choose what asks first. Set it per agent in its approval setting.
